IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME for people to adjust - I live in Bulgaria where the food at the local shops is seasonal GREAT... No lettuce today. No turnips. No celeriac. No cucumbers. Today is peppers, carrots, tomatoes and every variety of stone fruit imaginable. 12 years I've still not got used to it. You don't decide what to cook and go get the stuff. You go get the stuff and them think what you can cook with it - NOT the British way of doing things.

@aasphaltmueller5178 - WOW you're in Algeria??? I have been to Algeria, illegally LOL. Driving across the desert part of south eastern Morrocco, the bit that looks like Mars, and when we checked the GPS we were in Algeria cos the border does a big sweep to the west and we have unknowingly crossed it.

@aasphaltmueller5178 - I can confirm that in 2005 when I was there there was absolutely NO indication of a border. We were about 100km into Algeria before we realised. Ildilevo is a long way from me, Im in Burgas in the south eastern corner. BTW - is it still the case that you can not enter Algeria unless you have an invitation from a resident there???

@stephenconway2468 "Now that choice is going in the UK and coming to Bulgaria" YEP and its not for the better. Especially that most of the Bulgarian food companies have been bought out by American food companies and literally EVERYTHING has sugar in it now - oh and surprise surprise everyone is getting fat. I especially notice as I am borderline Type 1 diabetic due to pancreas damage. I can control it with diet if I avoid all sugar - its getting almost impossible to death anything now. Even the natural Bulgarian yoghurt now has 4.5g of added sugar per 100g...
