  1. ALSO £3 billion is meaningless unless you know what % increase it is. If the NHS budget is £100 billion then £3b is 3% which is a 7% cut in the budget if inflation is 10%

  3.  @lestrem11  WOW - I just love it when a really stupid person tells me I'm thick. OK - here we go QUOTE "3 billion is meaningless" that is LITERALLY meaningless as you did not include any units. Is it 3 billion carrots, 3 billion farts, 3 billion £GBP. Maybe this is why I have an A-Level in pure maths and another in physics and you don't...??? Then we get to "….." this is a pathetic attempt at an ellipsis. Which is always 3 full stops ... and it is regarded as three words so its space...space next word. So you would fail GCSE maths, physics and English just on the basis of the 8 words, 2 punctuations and one number on that single sentence. THAT IS IMPRESSIVE

  5. @Soul of a robot - Its a 2.2% rise in the budget. 10.1% inflation so its a 7.9% real terms cut Although there is another way of doing the maths that would give you 7.14% which is more accurate. 7.9% is strictly a "shortfall in the increase".

  6.  @lestrem11  I will almost certainly pay more TAX in my life than you will ever EARN. When I stopped work in 2015 I was paying [redacted for modesty] a year in tax and NI ... and I did not live in the UK, I chose to stay domiciled for tax purposes and pay UK tax I did say you should stop this public display of your own stupidity.
