THE EASIEST WAY TO MAKE MONEY ON YOUTUBE is to tell blatant lies to the right-wing, lie about Brexit to the UK. Lie about low taxes and immigrants in the USA and lie about climate change to the Australians... Genuine headline from a pro Brexit channel yesterday "EU COLLAPSING AS GERMAN COMPANIES INVEST £50 BILLION IN UK* 50k views and 1500 comments

@thepenguin305 - the difference is Phil always cites his sources. And most of the left wing channels I know of do the same. Trust me - I am aware of the difference between left wing channels and right wing. I am an author, it is automatic for me to check the original source material. Just seen Maximilien Robespierre with a quote about bodies from BoJo, before I even watched it I googled it to see if it were true. Try that with the right wing channels and you hardly ever find a real legit source for it. But YES, all channels report from their own bias.

@thepenguin305 - I agree with most of what you say. I think citing your sources is just professionalism, I don't think most people give 2 sh!ts. But I know I could make a hell of a lot more money writing books that pander to either the right wing or the capitalist ideology. 8 years ago I was worth about $6 million. My editor and publishing agent desperately want me to write a book about how I became a success - the truth is PURE BLIND LUCK. And that's how everyone basically gets rich. Inherit it [luck] or get lucky. And no one wasn't to read that story, they want the usual BS about dedication and intelligence and bla bla bla. Im an author now, Im highly dyslexic and I could not read or write at 13 - WOW what an amazing story, man becomes an author after that. What dedication, what drive, what commitment. NO. What luck that he had a teacher at 13 that taught him to read and write IN HER OWN TIME. People miss that out of their success stories. Almost no one is interested in reading any of this, they want an inspiring story that confirms what they already believe. It is easier than ever before to retreat into your fantasy world with all your online friends that confirm what you believe is true is true...

@jiversteve - I dont know - but all this stems from a report by "The German British Chamber of Commerce" [obviously no vested interest there] who did a telephone survey of their members 750 members but only 117 agreed to take part in the survey [???] of which 40 said they would increase investment in the UK business. which if you think about it logically, if they want to keep exporting, they HAVE TO increase investment to meet the new rules. somehow this 35% [40 companies] got translated into £50 billion by the pro Brexit media...
