ACCORDING TO THE FINANCIAL TIMES some Tory MP's were in tears whilst voting, they had been told if they DID NOT vote for it; they would get funding for their constituents CUT...!!! Not just that THEY were risking their jobs - which they were told they were; but that their constituencies would also be punished. You dont apply THAT level of pressure if it does not REALLY matter to you. Ergo Bojo really needed this...

@erict.watson2460 - The UK public have been conditioned over 800 years NOT to question the authority of a posh toff with an upper class accent... THE ENGLISH fantasise about being ruled over by posh toffs from Eton in a way that makes them feel secure and that all is well with the world. They "know their place" and that is at the boots of a Bullingdon Club grotesque who hated their very existence and truly believes the laws are for the scum, not the elite and worthy "gentlemen" the country belongs to... They despise the British working public and the British working public love them for it. It's how the world should be...! It makes me want to PUKE.

The people in the conservative party are literally BORN to govern, their parents were MP’s and government ministers and they grandparents and they never had a choice of career - they WOULD BE, not just politicians, but the GOVERNORS of the UK They went to school where they were TAUGHT how to govern - that is what Eton is for - to the future leaders of the country how to govern. The Labour party are there to represent the people and bla bla bla NOT the tory party - their job is to govern and they genuinely feel if they are NOT governing they are letting the country down - they are FAILING IT in their view. And you can only govern if you are in power, so maintaining power at any cost is their p[primary objective. Any amount of lying, any amount of bribing the electorate to vote for them is acceptable Their greatest asset is 5 years is longer than the average person memory. They lied to you 5 years ago, but you've forgotten that, and after all, the media told you that the opposition wants to let transgender immigrants use your child bathroom at school, and your house price just went up didn't it...? Best stick with the guys with the posh accents.

YES, things got better under Tony Blair's govt - but it was JUST ANOTHER form of neoliberal Tory government really. The balance has been tipped; there is no money left in the working class, they are in debt up to their eyeballs so now it is time for the elites to start eating the middle class. The lower value houses are to go to repossession auction at a bargain price and be gifted to the grandchildren of the elites as rental income properties and the smaller farmers are to be bought at bankruptcy auction to enlarge the estates of the landowners and Tory donors. To do this you are eating into your voter base, but it must be done to keep funnelling money and assets to the top. You can lie to the red wall - that will get you so far. But ultimately "democracy" has to go. You CAN NOT continue to win elections, no matter how twisted the system, when Tory voters are losing houses and farms. So "democracy" has to go - or the system can no longer FEED. And the ONLY purpose of the Tory party is to feed the system. Brexit is a vehicle to move assets from the middle class to the elites. They dont care if the economy crashes, they are more money than they can ever spend - they are insulated. A nice BIG CRASH that devalues property and bankrupts farms is GREAT...! They can snap them up. Cos the thing the elites of the UK know is money is meaningless when you have enough of it - CAPITAL ASSETS is what builds and maintains generational wealth. That is why the price of these is so high right now... So they NEED a crash to bring the price down whilst they snap it all up...

@Jay...777 - YEP - what really annoys me is 10% on the right HATE the "woke" stuff. 10% on the left passionately support it. 80% of people just dont care; its a none issue to them. They have bigger priorities in their life - but the left wing parties ALLOW the media to bait them wiht this BS and they bite every time. When Starmer was asked if a trans woman could have a whatever - he should have just said "wiht all respect to trans women, I think even they would agree we have MUCH bigger issues in this country and I doubt they appreciate YOU making them a political football. So I will not be answering that question and we will talk about the big issues that affect EVERYONE in this country." But no - he got dragged in as the left always do...

@BENTWOONEZERO - 1) It is NOTHING like as bad as the UK, and I mean absolutely NOTHING. There were riots last year over an MP getting dodgy planning permission. So the scale of the corruption is incomparable - £38 Billion track and trace has yet to be answered for. 2) They are DOING something about it; they are working like hell to get the corrupt GERB party OUT of government; but like Bojo they are changing the laws and the system to prevent this. Political parties were funded by the state to stop corruption - just before the election GERB changed this to private funding and no party other than them had any money...! In short OF COURSE it bothers me. But it bothers me more in the UK cos its worse and there is no end in sight.
