  2. THE PROBLEM WITH ELECTING people who went to Eaton and the other "top schools" is they are NOT taught to be thinkers, they are taught to be arrogant leaders. This leads to problems in normal times, it leads to utterly catastrophic f-uk ups in a pandemic. They are literally taught THEY KNOW BEST, not the scientists, not the experts, THEM.

  5.  @moc7323  THATS is because Boris and his mates come from a family where daddy just buys you a new car when you put it in the ditch. THEY don't have to get the bus to work for 9 months whilst they save up for another one. So they have NEVER learned a lesson in their lives. Now we pay with ours.

The job of these schools was to create the rulers of the British Empire, and they have NOT changed their teachings since, they are STILL turning out people with insanely high opinions of their own talent and ability and utter disdain for everyone else.

No amount of "steering into a skid" is going to save you when a tractor has dumped hydraulic fluid as it leaves the farm entrance you are handbrake turning into. :-D

  13. @channeleightythree083 - I agree - but its a self-sustaining system isn't it. You get ahead cos of who you met at school and who's dad does what. So you are not paying for the education, you are paying for the connection in life.
