  1. TODAY I REALISED THAT BULGARIA HAS PASSED THE UK in the general standard of living... I got the bus to the city centre today, just an ordinary small city in Bulgaria. It was a brand new £1.3 MILLION battery-electric bus more like a space shuttle than a bus. NOWHERE in the UK has £1.3 million busses, glass and granite digital bus stops with free wifi, 1 bus every 7 minutes, uniformed conductors that take your money, flat rate 60p fairs no matter how far you go When I moved here we literally had horse and carts on the road but we have had 13 years of relentless progress whilst the UK had had 13 years of decay.
