@robertsmith9810 - ONLY its not a "little tin pot" - you dont understand the reality. BRITAN is the LITTLE TIN POT, in fact, its not even a tin pot. Its rusty galvanised bucklet with holes in it. When the country on your doorstep tells you to jump, and that country controls your access to food, gas and electricity, you say "How high Mr Frenchman. ANYWAY - George Useless has already backed down saying "we are not going to retaliate, we will take the high road, but we reserve the right to do so...!" I.E. We like food and energy. Here is an analogy - you remember when Russia turned off Ukraine gas supply in the middle of winter - what did Ukrain do??? Thats right they stopped complaining about the price of gas and begged the Russians to turn it back on again. This is the power balance between the UK and France / the EU post Brexit.

@davidlanchas5710 - You cant increase the price of something you have not got. And France provided the base load regulation, or a lot of it.
