CRITICAL THINKING WAS THE MOST LIFE LONG USEFUL THING I WAS EVER TAUGHT I went to a crap school -- but they still taught critical thinking.

@originalmossman OMG what an infinitely cooler education than I had. Mine was a physics teacher who would not accept any answer that didnt started with I think therefore I am and F=MA before getting to the answer 6 pages later

@originalmossman I was educated in the early 80's at Batley Boys High School that is often in the media now for the wrong reasons. It was a very strange school. As the name suggests it was all boys, it was a comprehensive but it fancied itself as a public school, we had "quads" and "masters" the head walked around in black cape and mortar board hat But it did have some GOOD teachers and I have everything to thank them for. I'm severely dyslexic and could not really even read or write when I arrived there. I left with about 9 "O" levels and 3 A levels with shockingly bad grades - but that was 100% MY fault.
