  1. WHEN I MOVED TO BULGARIA I was shocked that most people felt democracy was an imposition - the general attitude was "why do I have to make the decisions...? You are the politicians that your job isn't it? Do I ask you to do my job? NO so why you asking me who should run the country?" They liked communism, everyone hated the same people - the government. As Phil says, most people dont care, they just want stuff to work.
