I COULD NOT AGREE MORE I utterly hate the "I'd rather stick to my principles than win" brigade. The prime example, as well no, it's Novara media and a bunch of Corbin worshippers.

I wrote this after the last election - The Tory Party exists to govern - it’s their only reason for existing The people in the conservative party are literally BORN to govern, their parents were MP’s and government ministers and their grandparents and they never had a choice of career - they WOULD BE, not just politicians, but the GOVERNORS of the UK They went to school where they were TAUGHT how to govern - that is what Eton is for - to teach the future leaders of the country how to govern. The Labour party are there to represent the people and bla bla bla NOT the tory party - their job is to govern and they genuinely feel if they are NOT governing they are letting the country down - they are FAILING IT in their view. And you can only govern if you are in power, so maintaining power at any cost is their primary objective. Any amount of lying, any amount of bribing the electorate to vote for them is acceptable Their greatest asset is 5 years is longer than the average person memory. They lied to you 5 years ago, but you've forgotten that, and after all, the media told you that the opposition wants to let transgender immigrants use your child bathroom at school, and your house price just went up didn't it...? Best stick with the guys with the posh accents.

The only thing that matters is winning the election, winning the revolution, winning the debate, once you've done that you can be as moralistic as honourable as brimming with integrity as you like, but if you've not done that you've achieved nothing, and you don't count.

@Don Doodat "I had to unsubscribe from them as they attack Labour more than they attack the Tories" so have I, which is a real shame because they are brilliantly insightful journalists. But they have become coltishly obsessed with attacking Starmer and worshipping Corbin.

@skyblazeeterno HAHHAHAHAHAH I literally counted. One week they attacked Starmer, or defended Corbin in 80% of all the videos they released everything else in the world was squeezed into 20% of the videos. They have become ridiculously obsessed to a level of cultism over the hatred of Starmer and the worship of Corbin.

If Jeremy Corbyn had won life would be good. BUT HE LOST. @skyblazeeterno Im English. Born in Batley West Yorkshire in 1972. Continue to live like a peasant loser, comforted by your morals and scruples... Winning at all costs is the only thing that counts in politics in a first-past-the-post system. There IS no second place. Win at all costs and THEN introduce PR. Lie any lie you have to to win, cos that is the tories standard day to day procedure. Winning at all costs is terrible - but its better than losing.
