AN AMERICAN LIVING IN THE UK pointed out that unlike the USA you cant buy your way out of the collapse - the upper middle class in the USA live in areas with good schools, nice roads, private police force etc... Their state and local taxes and their opt-outs allow them to be completely unaware of the wider problems - not so in the UK. You can be on £250k but the ambulance is till 13 hours

  3.  @fredatlas4396  Its not just the roads is it - the school has RAAC, their kid cant get ADHD medicine, they cant get HRT medicine, the local post office has closed, the police station is an AirBnB, their electricity bill is £6k. Its EVERY aspect of life in the UK. My sister owns some martial arts schools, one in a posh area one in a rough area - so a cross section. She hates it now cos people are just so negative and so stressed - the first time in 20 years she had someone storm off the mat and leave last week - people are jsut at the end of their tether.

  5.  @fredatlas4396  A story on James O'B today - a Brexit voter had changed his mind on Brexit. He got cancer and had to go into hospital and was looked after by lots of EU citizens and no he likes them and values them... If it does not affect them personally - they dont care do they?

  9.  @darthwiizius  Thats a myth we all believe. Only 85 of the UK is urbanised and 40% is private estates of the ultra rich and land owning gentry...!!! We never see it cos the roads dont run THROUGH it. There is PLENTY of land in the UK - more land is set aside for grouse shooting and other such things then is built on...
