I live in Bulgaria and we have had some shocking price rises. But they are limited to specific things - deary products for example - 30% increase. But meat - thats gone down 15%. Most stuff - not much change. SO - in essence what you would expect from supply chain problems. In the Uk everything has gone up - how do I kno. My sister has a standard weekly shop delivered by Tesco and she is really borning so it hardly ever changes and literally every product has gone up - literally EVERY product she buys has gone up. The over all is significantly up, about 25%

@magyarbrit5631 OH butter has gone crazy here - I no longer buy it so I cant say what the increase is. But it was a truly crazy price, it had almost doubled the last time I looked. Cheese up a lot but nothing like butter.

JAPANESE RAIN SHOES have thicker soles [wooden] to lift you UP out of the water so the bottom of your trousers or kimono does not get wet... Why do WE endlessly contend with wet hems ???

@uweinhamburg - Believe it or not, we have rice fiends here in Bulgaria.

@uweinhamburg - I only found out cos someone told me that British people were working in the paddy fields - and I thought he was winding me up... I looked it up and YEP we have rice paddies and the industry is booming recently - apparently. And there was a shortage of workers and Brits were coming over to work in the rice paddies; which somehow seems like a metaphor for Brexit LOL
