  2. WHY THEY HAVE NOT REALISED the workers can just walk - they have lived in a world where workers are TOTALLY expendable for the last 30 years... Its an entire paradigm shift for the management of Sainsbury's to suddenly be in a world where THEY, the employer, are disposable. In the 70's my after was a skilled engineer. If a boss spoke to him the wrong way he would walk out there and then, hundreds of other companies needed him cos we used to manufacture things. [he is an arse my father, so this happened a lot]
