THE PROBLEM WITH BORIS'S POPULARITY is that people have PERSONALLY invested in him, in his Brexit and in his charismatic personality... SO to get them to abandon Boris is to admit he is a liar and a cheat and a POS and THAT means admitting THEY WERE CONNED - same thing with Trump. People will make excuses for Boris in order not to have to admit to themselves the truth about themselves...

@BrendaWilsonmosaicmaster p- I mean if it was a £10k sofa we were talking about you could argue quality, argue longevity, argue British craftsmen hand made it. But wallpaper is WALL PAPER - its paper you glue on the wall with a pattern printed on it by a machine.

SHIRLEY WILLIAMS put socks on the legs of her desk when she was a cabinet minister. Cos the metal segs of the previous occupants had chaveled the wood of the legs and they were cutting and scratching her legs as she wore a skirt. She thought it unacceptable to spend public money on a new desk when the country was in a crisis at the time... OH how far we have come.
