IM SORRY - but we don't deserve better. Maybe individuals or regions do, but as a country NO. We have never modernized our electoral system, we have voted out of selfishness on too many occasions, we have not looked after our chindren, we have not marched in the streets to demand better and we have fully earned everything we now how... The UK was not invaded or subjugated - it did this willingly. Bojo is the leader the UK deserves. Brexit is the end of the Uk that the UK deserves... YES - it breaks my heart - but we deserve it - if we had done enough to prevent it, end earned a different future - we would HAVE a different future.

@englishsteve1465 But we voted for Boris and we got Boris and it was NOT like anyone thought Boris would handle a crisis well is it...? People voted for personal bigoted / financial / idiotic reasons over Brexit and 130k people died as collateral damage... Thats what happens when you vote for a moron cos you don't like immigrants.

@geoffpegler4506 - Ill be honest - NO. Not in this way. I left for many reasons. Police harassment after they failed to get me for something [I was innocent] and looked fools. Cameras were appearing everywhere - it was becoming a police surveillance state. Climate change had made the area I lived in a lake every summer for 3 years in a row. I realised the village I lived in for 3 years, I didn't know anyone name. The electric gates opened the BMW X5 emerged and went to work. At 6pm the reverse happened and that is all you saw of anyone. I just thought - this IS NOT the place I want to live. But I will be honest, I did not expect it to collapse as it has. I'm an author writing a book in the collapse of the USA - when I started the book 2 years ago, I didn't think it really applied to the UK... I thought the USA would collapse first and that would be a wake up call for the UK to act. NOPE, the UK has sprinted into the lead.

@karlmcglue9946 - If you look at one of my previous answers, I say the fact the UK was becoming a police surveillance state was a big factor in me leaving the UK 12 years ago. They can get you and fine you for stopping 6 inch past the white line at a traffic light, they can get you for having a tax disc 1 day out of date, they can get you for being 5mph too fast, but if you get raped there is a 98.5% chance no one will be prosecuted... I didn't want to live in that society.
