CASCADING SYSTEMS FAILURE What Phill calls "the domino effect" - I keep banging on about it - why? Cos its what ends EVERY civilisation in history! The ingredients are different each time, but the inability to fix a problem cos the thing you need to use to fix is ALSO broken and every other option you have IS ALSO BROKEN... Thats is how all civilisations end. You just gave a perfect example. Food storage cos drivers + petrol shortage = you not at work = the drivers you have don't have food to transport.

THERE ARE TOO MANY CRISIS TO KEEP UP WITH But Labour still manage to be losing in the polls...!!! Genuine Question: How is that even possible??? At this point, the only explanation si that BOTH major parties realise Brexit is such a TOTAL DISASTER they are actively trying to lose the next election cos they don't want to deal with the nightmare. I don't believe its ACTUALLY possible to be as bad as Labour are, it has to be deliberate...!!!

@atomiccritter6492 - Im that far left I'm basically a communist LOL. But my No1. Priority is to get the Tories out - I would take Blair "centrist" neoliberal crap over the Tories every day of the week. I voted for Blair every time, would have preferred someone further left, but you vote for the best option available. My problem with Starmer is he is catastrophically useless. If you are going to be a neoliberal centrist then BE HIGHLY ELECTABLE. He made 10 pledges to get elected, he has broken all of them I believe... And he is totally useless in an interview - he is an embarrassing joke.

@atomiccritter6492 - Exactly. I left the UK at the end of the last Labour government, the country was in pretty good shape - yes there had been the global crash, but I trusted that would sort it out. The NHS was in good shape. People were generally optimistic. My sister decided this wee to pay the mortgage off ASAP, sell up and emigrate. And my sister is NOT ME. She bought a smallholding at 25 and was planning on being buried there, I mean literally... But she sees absolutely no future for her 12 year old boy. HOW SAD is that?

@Jay...777 - The us is that meme of a skip on fire floating away in a flood...

@jonathonjubb6626 - Its important to say I am not a Corbynite. Liked his policies. Though he was a crap leader. Watching Starmer get interviewed this week has at best been cringe-inducing, mostly sickening, and yesterday I was so angry at his lying and uselessness I could not sleep. Starmer is as likeable as Hillery Clinton with none of the political acumen or skill.
