  3.  @banksiasong  if you listen to western propaganda, yes. I happen to know quite a lot about this. The west is having a massive panic attack because China is moving away from being the worlds source of cheap labour to supplying its own internal market of 800 million middle-class people. China watched America bankrupt the USSR. They knew they were next so they opened up to western countries to allow external investment to key in the economies and protect China. You can't bankrupt China if it's going to bankrupt yourself as well. China is now economically too big for America to bankrupt, and it's middle-class is twice the size of the American population. China for 3000 years has been an inward looking country. It's not an expansion East Empire building nation like the west. So now China is going back to being China, it's safe, it can't be bankrupted, it's lifted nearly 100% of its population out of poverty and it's no longer interested in supplying the rest of the world with cheap labour. That's why America is having a hissy fit and saying that the new devil and while the media is saying that the Chinese economy is collapsing. So no China's economy is not tanking. It's transitioning from external trade to internal trade and this will have impacts, but it's a managed economy with a 30 year plan.
