  1. £14.10 is £30k a year - and that is a minimum wage in the UK - I have NO IDEA how anyone lives on that on their own.

  2.  @Alex-cw3rz  £26k is rent in London. Many people dont realise how low the wages have got in the UK - In 2002 my last salaried position I was on £65k in the North. It was a good salary - but I was just a salesperson. Ive looked and that job now has a salary of about £55k and most are in London. When I moved to Bulgaria in 2009 a nurse earned 400 leva a month, they now earn 4,050 a month. 1000 leva a month will rent you a 3 bedroomed villa with pool The UK is going backwards cos the rest of the world is moving on.
