RISHI SUNAK STRIKES ME as a person who has randomly lucked out on every thing he's ever done in his life without ever putting any thought into it whatsoever... Like Elon Musk - and now for both of them, the luck is running out and the world can see them doing totally stupid things, neither can understand why they are NOT wildly successful.

@megannehover - This is true - but ironically it also relies on a lot of the "right" people knowing you and giving you jobs and tips for stuff i.e. insider trading. I mean it shows by how many contracts he gives his wife's companies. He sees NOTHING wrong with bunging billions £ into child care just because his wife has a child care company - cos THAT is how his entire life has been.

@Pyriold NOPE - on a planet of 8 billion people, one person is going to randomly fall ass backward into success after success, taking ridiculous risks, and them inexplicably paying off, and that person is Elon Musk. HE does not do brilliant things - his engineers do brilliant things. Now you could argue that his biggest talent is hiring good people, I'll give you that one. But his ego has now surpassed his ability to admit, when he doesn't know a thing, and to hire the right people. BTW - ALL rich people get rich by getting LUCKY. It's not genius, it's not hard work, it's not dedication, it's LUCK. Millions and millions of more intelligent, hard-working, more dedicated people go to their graves penniless every year. How do I know, in 2014I was worth €6 million. How did I get there? After 25 years of hard work, my company went randomly viral and overnight, I was rich. There are 1 million alternative future scenarios where the company didn't go viral. And if you get that kind of look five times in a row, you end up being the richest man on Earth. In 2015 I suffered brain damage in a mugging and 18 months later I was bankrupt and homeless - ITS ALL PURE BLIND LUCK. Because if I hadn't of suffered brain damage, Brexit would've killed the company anyway... ITS ALL PURE BLIND LUCK and Elon Musk got lucky
