@davemoore5222 - I grew up in extreme poverty in the 80's thanks to Thatcher closing everything in my town. I thought that was over, I thought no children would have to go through that again - terrible to know we have gone back to that.

@NIGHTSTALKER973 -I 100% think that is the solution. 100% Macron in France has nationalised the biggest energy company to ensure affordable electricity this winter - why? cos is knows France will look like Sri Lanka this winter if he does not.

@wleon4068 - A friend of ours burned their furniture one winter to keep their newborn baby from dying of hypothermia. I'm not making that up. We were incredibly poor but out father spent some of the money saved for Christmas on buying them coal. My sister and I went to school in black bin bags - too poor to afford coats. I truly thought that would just be old men's stories - stuf kids would never believe let alone experience. Its utterly horrific.

Revolutions happen when three things come together 1) the ruling class get so hideously out of touch their every action is unwittingly cruel and self-serving, meaning the conditions of the working person are simply hideously deprived with NO HOPE of ever improving - Brexit, NI increase, Cost of living crisis 2) a new generation arrives that does not have the deference of the previous ones, has access to modern communication systems that the ruling class simply does not understand how to use - Gen Z 3) A massive - usually global event - a world war or a pandemic Just saying
