  1. Inheriting a farm or a boat is not the same as inheriting intelligence. My cousin is about to inherit about £15 million of far, and thats not even a big farm, and he is literally the thickest person I know.

  2.  @rembrandt2323  - It sounds incredibly elitist, but its true. People who were incapable of knowing that Facebook was a bad source of information we're allowed to vote... If you cant even evaluate the platform, what hope is there that you can evaluate the information? If you want ANY more evidence that a lot of people are way too thick to vote - i give you "the working class Tory voter" If the rich and the poor are voting for the same party - one of them is getting conned...

  3. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FARMING SUBSIDIES It is YOUR FOOD that is subsidised...!!! This is so that wages can remain LOW and people not riot for food...!!! Everything is a % mark up on everything in the supply chain. So £1 of grain = £2 for the mill = £4 for the bakery = £8 to the shop = £16 retail [over simplified] So [£0-.50p of grain + £0.50p subsidy] = £1 for the mill = £2 for the bakery = £4 to the shop = £8 retail IT IS the cheapest way to subsidise YOUR FOOD so you can work for LESS

  4. THE SHORT ANSWER IS - NO this is why: FARMERS ALWAYS VOTE TORY cos they own land that was STOLEN off the people of this country by the TORY PARTY under the Parliamentary Enclosures Acts... They live in mortal fear of a socialist government nationalising the farms and giving the land back to the nation - in WW2 2,750 farms WERE taken off farmers for the benefit of the nation - as the farmers were not planting what they were ordered to feed people. So the precedent and legislation exist!!! STOPPING NATIONALISATION AT ANY COST IS No1 PRIORITY.
