@HALLish-jl5mo I was a total m-o-r-o-n at 16 - but as part of my job I spend a lot of time looking at what young people are doing today, they are WAY more educated and politically aware than we were. I think they should get the vote. The other issue is dementia starts to set in at about 60 and becomes an issue at about 70. In 1950 this was not an issue as few made it to 70 but it does mean we have 20% of the over 70's voting in large numbers and thinking its 1962 or we are still fighting the Falklands war and Thatcher is great... So even it out a bit I say. Apart from that - yes your point is valid.
