AMAZINGLY IRISH SANCTIONS are likely to have some of the biggest effects - almost ALL of Russia's passenger jets are owned by an Irish leasing company and they have to be repossessed before the 30th March. A country that spans 11 time zones with NO passenger aircraft - that WILL have a big impact.

For all the other stuff you mentioned - its tinkering with the ivories mate. Im guessing you LIVE in the Uk??? Only people IN the UK harbour these delusions that the UK is powerful" My advice to you is to take what YOU says with a truckload of salt because you live in a fantasy.

  4.  @atomiccritter6492  - this whole "deserted their own country for better lives elsewhere" needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. People in eastern Europe dont usually "desert their country" - they go to work where the wages are much higher and then return with a life-changing chunk of cash in 5 to 10 years. so they DO have a demographic problem in that they are short of 20 to 30 year olds - but those people mostly come back and buy a house cash. This does mean that the economy is short of entry level workers. But its almost totally wrong to say "Poles had deserted their own country for better lives elsewhere" they have left the country to have a better life in Poland. Imagine a UK 20 year old could go an work in XYZ country easily with no paperwork and earn £150k a year and come home to the UK and buy a house CASH with no mortgage. Thats the situation.

Before this is over I promise you - people all over Europe will be asked to "save energy" even if you can afford it. dont use it...!!! Cos Russian gas and oil will be restricted or cut off. There will be energy-saving adverts on TV to "help the war effort" YES the market for second hand aircraft will be saturated, the market for luxury Italian goods will be diminished. LIFE WILL CHANGE FOR EVERYONE - ITS A WAR IN EUROPE. Guess what? Id realised this.

  12.  @Oluinneachain  - I think you are correct. I dont know anything about international aviation. It sounds impressive - but in reality, what I think will happen is Putin will seize the planes. Then they will cannibalise some to keep the others flying. I was kinda thinking they were like a Tesla - you could remotely ground them, but thats probably a fantasy.
