This will definitely end badly. I'm genuinely worried where this ends, if you "war game" the scenarios i.e. sit down and work out what will happen given a string of events, you very often end up with "Martial Law" and the suspension of elections as the result. Too often for this not to have been pointed out by the people who advise Bojo. And Bojo is doing nothing to avoid this ergo - Bojo WANTS THIS to happen???

@Jay...777 - There are no good answers to the question "Why aren't the government doing anything to help...???" You cant even blame utter incompetence, cos they are VERY competent at dismantling democracy and the right to vote - very efficient at that. So WHY are they letting the runaway train head towards the station when they COULD do something to stop it??? If you or anyone has an answer to this that does NOT lead to the horrifying conclusion that they WANT chaos and food riots - please tell me. Cos this is keeping me up at nights...

So much so that I am writing a book called "How to Cope In A Collapsing Society" and it is a guide to acceptance and finding your own spiritual path through this... I have studies every civilisation / empire collapse over the last 3,000 years and I have drawn up this list of contributing factors, filled in for America [brackets are UK exceptions] Plague / disease Y Environmental change Y Massive wealth inequality Y Loss of the administrative class Y The government stops governing Y Attack from the outside - now includes cyber attack Y Loss of faith in the political system Y Economic collapse Y Exposed obvious corruption Y Crumbling infrastructure Y [N] Mismanagement of a crisis Y Societal division Y Loss of belief in the unity of the society Y Restriction of international trade / loss of trade agreements Y Increased isolationism Y Rising internal violence Y Excessive spending on military / arms race Y [N] Inability to maintain the currency - hoarding / devaluation / hyper inflation Y If a majority of things on the list happen to a civilisation simultaneously, it is invariably the end for that civilisation. If all happen at the same time, it's guaranteed to be the end. The USSR collapsed with 9 out of the 18. The UK scores 16/18. There is no way we survive this. The only answer is to look after your mental health. BTW - I don't think it will be as devastating world wide as people think, I think China will slide smoothly into place as the dominant Empire of the 21st century.

@grtcara8386 - You are correct. The level to which racism dominates the lives of these people is hard to imagine for "normal" people. Everything in their lives that sucks is the fault of immigrants and brown people. In many ways its not their fault - they have been told for 40 years that EVERYTHING is the fault of immigrants and brown people by the media they consume. I had a narcissist GF who went on for YEARS that my sister had screwed me out of £150k - she had not AT ALL. She sold some land she owned for building, good on her, she was very lucky. But after hearing this drip drip drip every day I started to resent her for having the money and then in the end to actually believe she HAD screwed me over - the facts started to twist in my mind - THATS HOW PROPAGANDA WORKS. The truth no longer matters, your brain bends the facts to fit your belief and that belief comes from endless repetition of the mantra...

@Jay...777 - China is doing what comes naturally to ascending civilisations. What impresses me is they see the damage that overindulgence on technology, gaming, etc has had for the west and they are acting to stop it. They see the damage that a two-tier education system does - they have banned private schooling. And last week they cracked down on the ultra-wealthy, looking to take away the obscene wealth of billionaires in a "prosperity for all - not a few" action - although that was hidden at the very end of a BBC article about "over feminisation of TV" in China... Almost as if they didn't want people to know China was cracking down and redistributing the wealth of billionaires...??? EDIT - democracy only works if you educate your population. As soon as you stop doing that it becomes a dictatorship, taken over by the people most willing to tell obvious lies the stupid uneducated people readily believe... China - ironically is investing massively in education, cos they have nothing to fear from an educated population - they cant vote for the "wrong" party so you don't need to dumb down the population.

@TheEvertw - this is exactly my point. Exactly. Every nation that ends up a fascist dictatorship goes through a series of steps along the way, things that happen. They are initially benign if out of the ordinary, but these events lead to a "disaster" that needs managing by the military on the streets. THEN there is violence between the military and some on the street enemy that requires the imposition of martial law for the safety of the population... One of the key indicators, red flags if you like, is the imposition of highly anti democratic legislations whilst a crisis is underway and distracting people... Like the restriction of the right to protest with 10 YEARS for being a nuisance, not 6 months for damaging property but 10 FKING YEARS. Or 14 YEARS for a journalist publishing leaked documents... Or mandatory voter ID... My hope is that this is limited to Boris Johnson and the others are just going along with what he wants... AND that they will turn on Bojo as the crisis deepens and he starts to become unpopular. I have always said "Fascism is narcissism turned into government policy" it has no purpose, it is what happens when you elect a raging narcissist - like Hitler, Like Mussolini, Like Trump, Like Boris Johnson... There is a REASON you should not elect a man who cheats on his wife when she has cancer - it is an indication of his soul...

@TheEvertw - I HAVE a saying "if a policy can be summed up in 4 to 5 words - its a LIE" No aspect of national policy is so simple it can be even remotely summed up in a few words. so I know Boris Johnson was a liar and a bad human. What I did not know is that he is a closest fascist dictator...

@igypop. - I agree that would be a possibility, but what consequences would he face if that were not the case...???? There is one other possibility. Narcissists like to destroy things, they are incapable of creating or building anything cos they don't have the discipline or the dedication. So they make up for this by tearing things down that others have created. The prime example being Trump undoing every Executive Order that Obama created, pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal and the Paris climate accord... So the purpose MAY simply be to do maximum damage to the UK... For no other purpose than to satisfy is screwed up personality. At least that, or your explanation, some end in a fascist dictatorship.
