  1. LITTLE KNOWN FACT ABOUT Y2K Ferry Bridge power station was shut down on Jan 1st 2000 as a safety system had tripped due to the Y2K bug. THANKFULLY no one noticed - except those working in the power station like My GF's father - cos other power stations were able to up production to cover, but the Y2K bug was VERY REAL. We just, unusually, dealt with it as a society pretty well.
