WRITE TO YOUR MP - IT WORKS my sister is always writing to her MP, recently she got her business included [rightfully] for furlough money after the council said it did not qualify. That made the difference between bankruptcy and survival - IT WORKS. TIP - even better, send it to the WRONG MP as well and they will forward it on - inter MP mail gets higher priority as they follow it up to check it was dealt with.

Try voting for a party that want to make changes to the current oligarchic capitalist system - what you cant? Whys that? Cos there isn't one? In the whole of the UK no one has thought to change this utterly broken system? They all just agree to tinker with the edges of the existing system that makes the rich richer every year -WOW. Knock me down with a feather. Democracy is the game the rich [Kings] let you play to distract you from the pitch forks - election bring zero meaningful change and protest is the last line of defence, take that away and parties can do what they want and you will STILL ONLY HAVE THE CHOICE OF A OR B basically identical party. So when you have total fascist party or slightly less fascist party to choose from - is THAT a democracy cos you get to choose every 5 years NO! Its a dictatorship with window dressing. Just look at the USA - you have the utter nutter or the corporate interest party... Oh and the utter nutters tried to stop legal protests - I wonder why these parties keep doing this???? Seriously - wise up.

@Yeknodathon - I dont live in the UK any longer. But I have advised my sister, who does. To move if this bill passes. Its NOT the bill its self. Its what the bill heralds in the future. The UK is not a place you want to be retiring in if this bill passes. Any government will be able to enact ANY horrific legislation they want without protest... Its a free pass for suppression and oppression.

@jimjiminyjaroo300 - In times of uncertainty and worry people like to be told what to do by "strong" leaders. Strong leaders are authoritarian by nature and people are incapable of getting that being told what to do today will be being dictated to tomorrow will be in prison for not complying in 10 years... This is why dictators always come out of a society in turmoil. You don't see the Scandinavian countries searching towards fascism, its the countries badly served by their governments over the last 30 years. Which countries have been badly served by their governments - the ones that worshipped "the free market" and the God of capitalism. Capitalism is a preditor, let it loose and it consumes everything - it is the very nature and when it starts to destroy the life of the ordinary person with its voracious appetite for money then people get desperate and the fascist in sheep clothing offers solidity and false hope and people vote for BREXIT and for TRUMP when they are really voting for their lives back that the monster of capitalism had devoured. Im an author and I have spent the last 4 years studying this for my next book "How to Cope In A Collapsing Society" - there are only two markets for this book. The USA and the UK...

@Jay...777 - Ah Ronald - the architect of the demise of the USA. Well - the actor who played president as the front man for the corporate interests that funded the GOP... The party who realised they would be demographic-ed out of existence and that stupid people vote against their interests, so they defunded education by nearly 50% to breed an entire generation of idiots to vote for them - AND IT WORKED... There is NO "good" side in the American collapse. Then Dems worked out the party with the most money win so they turned into the 100% corporate owned party and the GOP lied and cheated and gerrymandered and created idiots. And just today we have Mandelson urging Labour to commit to making the same mistakes America did in the 90’s & 2000’s and ensure the total collapse of society in the UK

@Jay...777 - This is one of those bills that looks only slightly iffy on the surface and if you are not schooled in critical thinking you don't spot that it is actually a paradigm shift in government. Its NOT what the bill does. Its what the bill ALLOWS a government to do. If you prevent protest you allow the government to do ANYTHING. OK BoJo gerrymanders every district to labour can never win again - how do you stop it??? You cant protest cos its YOUR word against the police that you did not shout and make a noise. ANd that's it 10 years in prison. After a few thousand people get 10 years for protesting ALL protest will end - no one will dare to...

@Jay...777 - You have summed up 4 years of my research in those 4 lines. I live in Bulgaria now, we don't have Amazon or Ebay - we still have hight street shops everywhere, its a cash based society where you can buy 1 razor blade, 1 sticking plaster, 1 sewing machine needle - i.e. it geared up for ORDINARY and poor people. We have amazing public transport, the cities are 40% green spaces and filled with fruit trees to provide fresh fruit for people, the kids under school age get hot food delivered to the door every day...
