YES - this is what I h4t3 about this -its US politics. You cant debate the motion so you use procedural tricks to make sure it never get debated. I will be voting Labour at the election - but I detest this

@OdinsTaco - I watched Labour Social this morning - I knew exactly what he was going to say cos he workshopped every line of this on there for 30 minutes... Ive heard every word of it several times today as he refined it. EDIT: It would have been better as a prediction, cos it was so predictable, but actually Ive heard it all already.

@ftumschk OH RIGHT - NOPE, he was a terrible leader. Liked some of his policies but utterly useless as a leader. Not a "magic grandpa" fan.

@stephenmartin6997 Phil runs Labour social - he is a surrogate for the Labour Party so he HAS to spin it, thats the job he has taken on. But it must be hard when Starmer keeps sh!tting on you like this. I remember the 5 videos "LABOUT WILL NOT ABANDON THE £28 BILLION GREEN INVESTMENT" It must genuinely be exhausting. Lets be real - we are all voting Labour cos the tories are the antichrist

DITTO. Im going to vote Labour cos the tories are basically the Antichrist, but the bending over backwards to spin it that Starmer is in the right just annoys the hell out of me.

@johnclements6614 Its beginning to remind me a little bit of Fox News in the US in the way it is unable to recognise objective truth and has to spin it. The objective truth here is ALL parties were being vile playing party politics over a very serious issue in a way they should not. BUT Labour put pressure on the speaker to allow their amendment and the speaker did Starmer a solid and it looks like he will pay for it with his job... There IS NO GOOD GUY in this story and Labour come out of it the worst in most people's eyes, but like you - Im stil going to vote for them.
