  1. Dude - i moved to Bulgaria in 2009, it was horses pulling carts on dirt roads. Its now new BMW's on glass smooth highways - the EU did that for you. I mean I loved the old Bulgaria - it was like going back in time. But the country is unrecognisable now.

I rented a 200m2 villa with pool for 400 leva - BRING BACK THE PAST. But I would have thought most people in Bulgaria would prefer it as it is now - but I cant tell cos you moan about it just as much now as you did 15 years ago...! PEACE 😀

  20.  @dino2400  Not trusting each other is a luxury provided by the delusion that the US was on our side and would be there should we need them. Look at Canada - 1 month ago they have endless internal factions arguing over trivial details - Trump imposes tariffs and they unite immediately. The US di NOT pretend to be out ally and "protector" for nothing - they wanted to stop the EU becoming the biggest economy in the world and internal division + antagonism with Russia ensured that. What changed - the w4r in Ukraine damaged the EU so badly it will never be No1, but China will so the US is dropping the EU - job done, its over for the EU as far as hegemony is concerned. The US is the world's most delicious calculating machine, its over for the EU, before that they needed Western Europe to stop the USSR, then they needed to stop the EU, now they need to stop China. There is NOTHING magical or shocking about any of this - just Trump told the truth - that's all. Get rid of the US. Build relationships with China - the only reason we don't like China is the US TOLS us to dislike china...!!! And start spending OUR money on OUR arms industry.

  22.  @adRatar  Actually - I agree. I am not a globalist, or a capitalist. I want a new form of modern communism [socialism]. I want countries to have individual identity and not just be Am3ric4n chain stores and tech platforms [but I am not a nationalist]. I am pro EU but I do believe they are too prescriptive - the EU should look after continent level stuff like continental defence, like trade deals, life large scientific research projects etc. All joking aside - I genuinely miss the old Bulgaria, it was MORE "Bulgarian". Bulgaria has lost some of its character in modernising - that said, Bulgaria has done a very good job of modernising without Am3ric4nizing in a way that Western Europe never managed and Britian absolutely failed to do. Britian imported every bad thing it could from Am3ric4. Bulgaria seems to be resisting that. Id give Bulgaria a 7/10 for its efforts in modernising - its doing quite well.

  23. NO WAY Bulgaria would have adopted the € if it were not for Trump - this is creating a federal Europe. Im not against it, but giving up control of the Leva means you are at the mercy of the French and German banks for borrowing and can not control your own economy - just ask Greece But its a price worth paying to unit Europe against Russia and Am3ric4 - both are now adversaries.

And the S&P500 is guaranteed to crash but probably 30% at some point, it is insanely over valued. I want 15 year returns, there is now hope that the S&P does not crash in that time. Also on point of principle, I will no longer invest in anything Am3ric4n. Im not greedy - I would be happy to get 5% on a bond with the possibility of a bonus if the tech investment paid off. We need to get back to issuing bonds to pay for projects, it working very well in Africa
