Lets go through it for Am3ric4 Shortage of soldiers and labour force - YES means of transport for military - YES heir production of cannon barrels does not cover what they are losing - YES 155mm shells They spend about 40% of the budget on war - pretty much They banned export of patrol as they cannot keep up with production - the US cant make petrol without Canadian oil and that might not be there in a month Railway transport is failing as they cannot buy parts to fix locomotives - LITERALLY the case across the whole of the US rail network

As the OP comment says the national debt has entered the parabolic uptick of exponential growth and every other part of American society, industry, government, state everything is also on that cusp of exponential collapse. America has entered "cascading systems failure" - everything is broken and everything you need to fix it is broken. You cant control inflation cos you have to put up interest rates - over 50% of the companies on the US stock exchange are "zombie companies" 100% of their profits go to service their debt, and that was at 0.25% or whatever. Corporate debt is stratospheric. All debt is stratospheric cos the nation has been living on debt to cover the utterly broken economy and hide the truth... So how do you control inflation??? And its the same with EVERY problem - you cant fix it cos something else is broken. America is collapsing and it can not be saved - it is a question of managing the collapse. And that is NOT something the American psyche is very good at - cos it requires an admission that it is collaping.

  12. I moved to Buglaria 15 years ago and this is the norm here, no one pays for childcare, the old people look after the kids. Old people are the BEST people to look after children — and the kids keep the old people active and happy

  13. HERE IN BULGARIA it is still a 99% cash economy - I love it. I can get my monthly salary and divide everything up in envelopes and do my budget and ACTUALLY SAVE MONEY. This never happened when I lived in the UK, that plastic card was always there to be used easily.

This one will have a number in a lab somewhere and if anyone else catches it they know that most likely its not fatal. They took blood samples every day and monitored me and stuff - but just to collect data. There was no treatment.

  19.  @gloekgloek3046  - Not true - we just built the wrong type of reacters cos they wanted nuclear fuel for bombs in the cold war... So we build TAHT type of reactor, cos we know about that type of reactor. Newer ones are way cheaper and safer and smaller - I mean some fit in a shipping container and will run a small town. Putting them on floating barges is a really good idea - no planning issues and if they have a problem you just sink the barge - water is a moderator so the reaction stops. And we are rally good at making nuclear subs and ships. There are lots of options - but we still build the massive expensive one's cos they have all the certifications cos we have used them for decades. A university in the USA ran a molten salt reactor for years - its so safe the students ran it...

  22. I LIVE IN BULGARIA this is mostly rubbish - the reason we are not vaccinated is WE HAVE NOT HAD A GOVERNMENT FOR A YEAR 3 elections provided NO government...!!! The pandemic response and the vaccine rollout have been utterly shambolic due to this and everyone has just given up waiting on the none existent government to DO something.

The problem with these container ships is those containers contain a LOT of air. If a container was full of oil it would weigh 60 tonnes. So the ship would weigh 1.2 million tonnes if those were oil tanks instead of shipping containers. So those containers are mostly air and plastic and packaging material. So the ship has a massive windage.

Pushing the stock market and housing market to the sky and TOTALLY creating the mother of all bubbles. Both will crash and it will cause devastation - AGAIN.

And as tax is a flat rate 10% on everything, be it capital gains or a company car, or a Saturday job, it is WAY harder to avoid tax in a "legal" way, so the rich wanting to get ever richer report to obviously illegal things. If tax is 10% FULL STOP, there is no real wiggle room. I FULLY expect them to change this to a more western version where the Billionaires pay 0.1 to 2% as we just discovered in the USA. Billionaires in Bulgaria have to pay 10% - they don't like that.
