YEAH mostly cos the US military wanted nuclear bombs so they developed the bad type of reactor instead of Thorium reactors or molten salt reactors there are totally safe - but dont make bomb stuff... So the world hates nuclear cos of the US military and the other technologies are 70 years behind in development. As with many of the world's problems today, the US government is responsible...
