Boomers and Silent Gen grew up with stories of the holocaust - every documentary was about it, they were told about it in school, they grew up with the Holocaust like Gen Z have grown up with climate change. It was omnipresent. And they have a collective guilt over it, they see Israel as a sacred gift to the Jewish people as reparations for the Holocaust and to them you just can NOT criticise Israel - BECAUSE HOLOCAUST...!!! "In contrast, the older generations were still in the WW2 mindset of not questioning the administration". and the Boomers are still in the post WW2 mindset where you don't question Israel. To Millennials and Gen Z its ancient history, they dont FEEL that guilt, but they see the destruction of Gaza for sure.
