  1. WHY DONT YOU FIGHT? cos the "protestant work ethic" is embedded in your religion and your culture... You regard it as a personal failing to not work hard. Europeans don't entertain this ridiculous delusion. Here in Bulgaria, working 1-minute overtime marks you out as a total idiot. The result, every father is in the park playing with his kids at 5.30pm. OK their car is 14 years old, but they won't miss playing with their kids to have a new car, you will.

We scraped up all the religious nutters, the criminals and the mentally ill, all the people we no longer wanted in our society and we stuck them on boats to the other side of the world... For 200 years Europe used America as the genetic dumping ground for the A-holes and nutters we didn't want. That's the European version... BTW - I feel for the ordinary person in America, they have been so SO badly shit on. I live on $600 a month here in Bulgaria and I have a better standard of living than 40% fo Americans, I work about 3 hours a day. Most families here that have children can survive on one salary. Yet people in America look at $600 and say "OMG they are SO poor!!" yeah but 90% of people own their own home with no mortgage [communism], 60% of families own a house in the village for weekends. I rent and my rent on a beach front apartment is $150 a month. $5 a day buys me organic locally grown and reared food...

Young people are going off to work in other European countries - If you go to Germany and earn €35k for 5 years, bring it back that sets you up for life here [my rent on a beach front apartment is $150 a month], but a lot find partners and never come back - and people are having fewer children.
