@papalegba6759 - NO. Electric car fires are different to gasoline car fires. They are far more intense but they are far more localised. If you investigate some of the fatal tunnel fires especially in France you will discover that in the confines of a tunnel you would be WAY better off having an electric car fire than petrol cos it is not going to set fire to 30 or 40 other trapped cars. Whereas if you have a fire on a metal bridge you would be way better off with a gasoline fire cos the lithium fire is likely to damage the bridge to the point it needs replacing. Its not that one is better or worse - they are completely different.

I dont want to be pedantic. But that IS a tunnel. noun noun: tunnel; plural noun: tunnels 1. an artificial underground passage, especially one built through a hill or under a building, road, or river.

@adnanomerhodzic3869 - Its a tunnel. It may not be a tunnel suitable for the mass transit of cars. But its a tunnel.

Cos I have driven through MANY tunnels that are like this - only they are rock cut and not concrete-lined, in the south-west of France. Also, I have sailed through many tunnels in France live this the longest being 8 miles long... Sorry - its a tunnel. A tunnel does NOT have minimum standards of quality to be a tunnel. It might be a crap tunnel - but its a tunnel. A hole in the ground from point a to point b for the purposes of transit is a tunnel. People dig out of prison in a TUNNEL... As in "He escaped from prison through a tunnel" "The POW's dug a tunnel"

@adnanomerhodzic3869 - I live in Bulgaria now. Houses with none existent foundations are the norm here... As I say - its not a GOOD tunnel. But it is a tunnel. AND BTW that 8 mile long cannal tunnel in France - it gets narrower and lower in the middle, they ran out of money and started to build a smaller tunnel. so if you ignore the height and width warnings at the entrance and sail in with an over sized boat, you get stuck...!!! No kidding - you get stuck 4 miles into a tunnel and you cant turn around and go back and boats dotn reverse and mobile phones and radios don't work cos you are underground - so you have to get in your dingy and row for 4 miles and call for help to tow you out. Thats a really shit tunnel...
