  1. IN THE UK I USED TO WORK FROM HOME I got 2/7ths of all my household bills covered, and they covered the cost of basic health and safety. Correct chair, desk, fire extinguisher, etc. I had to get an exemption cos it was not possible to use an escape ladder they would have provided, as it was a 3rd-floor bedroom I was using. The point being if the house set on fire at 2.00pm and I burned to death - I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN THE HOUSE if I worked from an office. ITS NORMAL IN EUROPE.
