  2. THE USA HAS basically the same length of track as the EU - but the EU runs 4 X as many trains on them - but... the USA has 3.5 X as many DERAILMEMNTS as the EU had TOTAL accidents. How can you be THIS BAD at running trains???

  3.  @Taxtherich2  - YEP - apparently running MORE smaller trains is much safer, but that requires more staff and the main way they have been increasing profits is to cut the staff...

  4.  @Taxtherich2  - I obviously live in the EU - I just got an advert for 2Gbps Internet for $0.57 cents a month…!!! Im currently paying $5 for 1Gbps. As Karl Marks predicted 150 years ago - capitalism tends towards monopolies that no longer need to compete on quality, safety, service, you just have no options...
