  1. When I bought my CL600 Mercedes the guy I was buying it off was showing off to me and took it up to its limiter which read 168mph on the clock - Ill confess I was terrified. We were approaching other cars doing the speed limit of 70mph at nearly 100mph. The motorway was fairly empty but even so, he was having to use all 3 lanes AND the hard shoulder to undertake and overtake... He was like 68 years old and calm as anything and fully in control - I was 43 and f-king terrified.
