@Chompchompyerded A guy called Garry who has a chan called "Garry's Economics" was giving a talk - he was the top broker for City Bank but he comes from a very poor family. He got in internship by winning a competition. He went to university with wall to wall rich kids and he was better than them - but they played the Oboe and the Violin. And he realised there would come a day when the clever kids would be divided into those who played the Oboe and those that didn't. When their CV's get assessed by the managers of the banks and brokerages. And the people at the. banks and the brokerages would say "It shows dedication and the ability to master difficult skills and that's why we chose them over the guy who played football on the street as a kid" but what it really shows is they are ONE OF US...!! THEY HAVE RICH PARENTS. It's another way of gatekeeping the riff raff out of the $million a year jobs. And thats why rich people pay for their kid's music lessons...

I would disagree - I think Tesla has become a Ponzi scheme. FDS didn't work and it never will and that was the basis of its valuation, a key feature ofg a Ponzi scheme is that when there is a failure the promise of the NEXT thing is so great that its worth taking the chance and keeping in, cos the payout will be worth the risk. But each failure needs a BIGGER future promise and that is how you get to robotaxis and humanoids AI robots. Lets be real - if Robotaxis were ever going to be a thing, Tesla would NEVER sell you them - they would just financialise them themselves and keep the profit.
