  1. The thing is. Basically, anyone can make a 2 second 0-60 electric car now. You can literally buy the components off the shelf. There is no longer any POINT in making it cos 0-60 in anything under 3 seconds is extremely unpleasant and the average human can not control a car that does it in less than about 4.5. It has become a completely redundant performance statistic for cars. It used to take a 5L V8 32 valve 4 cam 450Bhp engine to get my CL55 AMG to 60 in 4.5 seconds - now it takes 2 low-powered 225hp in hub axial flux motors and a battery.
