The average salary is $60,575. Germany €57,717. Switzerland has a standard of living index of 286, The UK 162, and Bulgaria 137. The UK is only JUST above the poorest country in the EU...!!! Britain is a very poor country with a few VERY rich people

  3.  @RaRa-eu9mw  - thats not what I said. £60k is an ok livable wage. They are constantly trying to tell people on £28k or £32k THAT ARE starvation wages, they people on £60k are greedy. They are RESHAPING your expectation of a livable wage. It is VERY sinister. I was earning £65k in 2002 as a 32 year old salesperson in the north of England. UK wages are going DOWN.
