THERE IS NO COST OF LIVING CRISIS there is a WAGE crisis. Wages have remained either effectively static or literally static for 15 years. Subsidised by industrialised food and cheap plastic sh!t from China. But no longer can cheap food and cheap consumer goods mask the problem. This was all predicted 150 years ago in a book about capitalism. Its actually inevitable.

@simonjones2240 - If the average wage was £85k would there be a cost of living crisis...??? My first job fresh out of school at 18 in 1988 paid me £8,250+ bonus taking it to just over £10,000. According to the Bank Of England inflation calculator that is £29,935. That was my STARTING SALARY AS A TELESALES PERSON in 1988 £30k in today's money. There IS NO cost of living crisis - there is a wage crisis. Wages are utterly pathetic today in the UK.
