THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PRICES COMING DOWN this is be3cause there was an inherent problem in the price cap when prices are rising sharply - it SAVED UP the price rise so people got a massive shock. I'm an author and I wrote an article on this a couple of weeks ago. Revised price caps are a PROBLEM in a rapidly rising market, they plunge people INTO poverty not save them.
