  1. YEP - and the Uk SET most of those rules in the first place. My sister worked for the company that drafted the EU pig welfare standards - she wrote most of them in about 2012. They were written specifically to protect the UK from Russian pork imports. the company also wrote the chicken regs and a lot of the agriculture regs. All of which were written with a very BRITISH bias.
