  2. HERE IS A THING NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT Unlike the US models - this is trained on ALL the texts of China, all the history, all the literature AND ALL THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH...!!! China does 18X the core research the West does, but we never read it cos its all in Chinese - but this model answers questions in English with Chinese research...! My sister is already pulling Biology and nutritional info out of it we have never seen in the West.

I HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR 2 YEARS that the future was NOT "LLM" but "SLM" - small language models for specific applications, medicine, engineering, law, biology, maths etc. Not because I am a genius but because it was obvious. The vast amount of redundant data / computation in every LLM for the task YOU are using it was an obvious gigantic and DUMB feature. I always suspected it was kept that way to create a massive barrier to entry. Alternatively, they were trying to create God for their ego.

The world does not CARE if China has 1 billion GPU's - the world has an ALTERNATIVE TO US AI and even if it were not FREE they would jump - what happens when you run your healthcare system on US AI and Trump switches it off to blackmail you...??? The UK will definitely adopt this to run the NHS AI system in house - previously they would have spent billion $$$ per year on a US system - it allows governments and organisations to run stand-alone AM3RIC4 RISK FREE AI, cos the biggest threat in the world today is US instability - OPEC are keeping their $USD in China cos they don't trust the US
