Its like owing $50k on your credit card and starting to put pennies in a jam jar - Im not saying you should not do it, but what you should have done is started it in 1975 and NOT given massive tax cuts to the rich. You would now have a wealth fund of $15 trillion and next to no national debt. Hey - Im British by birth - we gave away all out oil money as tax cuts to the rich as well
