I live in Bulgaria now. The average working family has 2 children on 1 wage and lives comfortably. In the "poorest" country in the EU. these "rich countries" are only rich on paper because of the hyper wealthy

@virtualal Absolutley - We thought Am3ric4ns are decent modern advanced people and that was OUR mistake. We live in our civilised bubbles of modernity and democracy and we are COMPLETELY out of touch with the average Am3ric4n - you are 100% correct. The Am3ric4n people have chosen to live in a theocratic dictatorship in 1880 and I respect that - that is their choice. I hope they enjoy it.

I RESPECT AM3RIC4S DECISION Neoliberalism has made life for 75% of people MUCH worse and Am3ric4 has said "we would rather have Trump who will smash it all up - than continue" The UK chose the "lesser of 2 3vils" and we have a pathetic, utterly pathetic Labout govt tweaking figures for an extra 1 Penny of a pint of beer as the country collapses. We will see who is right Ive been saying for 2 years the US has 2 economies - the 1 for the top 25% and the rest. The 1 for the top 25% is doing SO WELL it makes the numbers look great, meanwhile an IT guy in California said to me "he buys milk as a luxury when he can afford it...!!!
