  1. The very founding of Am3ric4 is completely different in the European telling. We scraped up all the religious zealots, the criminals, the insane, the prostitutes and we put them on ships to Am3ric4 to get rid of them. The French handcuffed a criminal to a prostitute - married them and sent them to Louisiana to populate it. I'd hardly say we are proud of our actions, but the interesting point is how they differ from the American version.

For the last two weeks the WORLDS media has been obsessed with what will Ir4n do, what will Russia do, China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, BUT NOT AM3RIC4 No one outside the Western bubble cares what the U-S does, they know you will do the wrong thing, that's axiomatic, but no one WORRIES. Stealing Russias overseas currency was the final nail in the coffin. The damage that electing an obvious m0r0n has done is greater than anyone in the US could possibly imagine.

  4.  @Papawcanner  Every country lies about its past to look good OR to look the victim of something unjust. I am British by birth and my God do we do it. But Am3ric4 is unique that I know of in having an entire foundation myth. Its also unique that 95% of the population - the global supremacy of the US forms part of their personal identity, maybe this is just a function of becoming a global empire in the age of mass communication? But most Am3ric4ns can not be in any way objective about the end of empire as it is a personal attack upon their identity. This is and will continue to cause many problems.

  5. I have to watch global media as part of my "job", the level to which Am3ric4n media is just pure propaganda is astonishing. You live in a world where Am3ric4 is the most important thing and everything else orbits Am3rci4. When in reality 8/10ths of the world has moved on - they are setting up their own UN, one that works, they have their trade routes sorted with the "belt and road", they have their own payments system that does not use the $USD - in facts its very clever based on modern monetary theory. It creates and destroys money to balance payments. You guys are living in a perfectly preserved version of the world that existed in 1995, and so is most of Europe. But its not real. Go watch Indian news, Chinese news, Iranian news - they almost NEVER mention the US, they talk about things that are REAL and HAPPENING and the US is not involved in any of them.

YOU get to decide if the tax cut will be 55 or 7.5% of you get to decide if a ting will be A or A+0.5% but YOU DONT get to vote for communism. YOU DONT get to vote to nationalise all the essential industries. YOU DONT get to vote to put taxes on the rich back up to 75%. 0.00%. ZERO % of what the bottom 60% of Am3ricn4s want ever gets into law. 80% of what the top 1% gets into law. On a macro scale you vote means NOTHING. Does not mean you should not vote. But on the grand scale you get to decide NOTHING.
