@bailmasterflex Proof of work means you have to solve a mathematical puzzle to be awarded the transaction, the puzzle difficulty scales with the power of the processor - hence the massive farms of GPU's using vast amounts of energy - the better you get at solving the puzzle, the harder the puzzle gets. I LITERALLY write books on the collapse of civilisations - you don't think I have a detailed knowledge of this stuff - what is a smart contract? ITS A F-KING HORROR STORY that has not yet even been written - it was designed to do STUFF on the blockchain but once its launched out there is can never be recovered or altered and it can be set to do or accidentally do any number of horrific things that we have NOT EVEN invented yet.
