  2. I just watched a genuinely nice well-travelled American guy talking about the things he hates about America - one of them was the media telling him that the USA was racist. According to this 6'2" white male America IS NOT a racist country. And I guess to him - its NOT.   7. AT 50 YEARS OLD I decided i really SHOULD read Karl Marks Das Kapital - so I bought the summary version as you do... I was 9 PAGES IN and I realised my entire life believing in capitalism was based on LIES AND PROPAGANDA. Capitalism is so idiotically flawed as a concept that you need to be brainwashed from birth to believe in it. If you HALVE the price of things through competition the capitalist needs to sell 2X for the same profit... 1 PLANET of resources CAN NOT = infinite expansion.

  11. MY DOG IS MISERABLE EVERY DAY I used to run 5km a day with her. I now walk 500m with a walking stick. I had covid 18 months ago. I have long covid which has destroyed my life. I was hyper fit. I was 90kg of muscle - I'm now 90kg of FAT. I used to sprint up the 16 flights of stairs to my apartment for fun. I’d written a book on how to get fit over 40 and I was preparing for the photoshoot in April 2020. I was in the top 0.1% of people for fitness and health, now I walk with a stick. Thank god I am a self-employed author cos there is no way on earth I could do an 8-hour workday... People think if they don't die they will be fine - NO, if you get Long Covid your life is totally screwed - and I have NO IDEA how long this will go on for - another 6 months - another 6 years or the rest of my life??? GET VACCINATED - there was no vaccine for me, I had NO CHOICE in this - you DO…!

  22. Im an author on psychology - its 20% of society - The Child In The Well Experiment Mencius (fourth century BCE) was a Confucian philosopher. He proposed that all humans were inherently good. They all has “sprouts” of goodness, they just needed nurturing. To demonstrate this he proposed the following. A young child is sat on a well, as you want by it falls screaming down the well. He says EVERYONE would run to help the child, call for help. Recently this was tested. Subjects were taken to a room in a different city and there was a video screen of the space outside and it shows a well with a child on it. The subjects don't know this is a a pre recorded video, they think it is a live feed. As the “experiment” is being set up the child falls screaming down the well. The theory is that 100% of people will react and call the assistant to go help the child. This is not the case. 80% do exactly that, they go nuts and scream for help, run out the room to try and save the child, just what you would expect. 20% do NOTHING. They don't call for help, they don't get up and try to help and a significant proportion don't even register any facial emotions. They just passively watch a child die as if they were watching a commercial for shampoo. Upon further investigation, the vast majority of these that don't react are right to far right wing in their political views.

In the late 1970's and early 80's computers became a thing and you could process lots of statistical data for the first time. And the political parties did... The data showed the GOP they would be demographic-ed out of existence in a couple of decades. It also showed the GOP that stupid badly educated people - amazingly - voted for them. Voted AGAINST their own interests, as blue-collar workers and for the GOP. So the GOP started to breed their own supporters. They systematically defunded education - in 1976 education was 5.7% of GDP. In 1983 it was 3.4% Some of the specific changes they made were to STOP teaching critical thinking skills, skills that ALLOW people to spot a lie. And it was wildly successful. America now has an uneducated subclass of 35% idiots and it is enough to swing elections.

  33. BULGARIA HERE - 2 years paid parental leave if you have a child. 8 weeks for the father. Hot fresh food delivered to your door every day if your child is under school age. Also - distributed, not centralised, schooling so the schools are all walking distance from your apartment / home. The 3 age groups of schools are located together so older kids can walk the younger ones to school and home from school. Many schools have dorms so the kids can stay a night or two each week to give the parents a break. 1 child psychologist to every 300 pupils in a school, so kids talk to the school psychologist as just part of their schooling. OH and driving is taught from 5 years old in little electric cars so being a good polite driver is ingrained into the children. Yeah but Bulgaria IS the richest country in Europe so what do you expect, OH WAIT NO - its the poorest country in the EU... But it values its children cos children are literally tomorrow's society and if you abuse them you get a horrible society full of messed up, selfish people. University is $1500 a year.
