IM NOT A WAR HAWK but the ex Russian foreign minister said "If you give Putin an off ramp he will see it as weakness, take it, regroup his military and try again..." He added "The only way to stop Putin is to beat him and rub his nose in the loss - its the only language he understands - there IS no compromise with Putin. It is win or lose"
