@deanunterreiner6588 Income tax is a flat rate 10% in my country - maybe DONT believe the endless propaganda. CITIES put all the money into the rural areas - just like the US rural areas are a MASSIVE economic drag, they need subsidising just to keep them working. Our cost of living is half the US.

@paulwoodman5131 " popular vote would ignore 90% of the country." How can a popular vote ignore 90% of the country - at MAXIMUM it can ignore 49% of the country??? OR are you talking about land mass - why does LAND MASS get to vote...??? Why dont you include the squirrels and the badgers as well if the land gets to vote??? What about the lakes?? Do THEY get a vote>???

@bdbatu And the GOP would have to actually DO things that were popular in order to win - they could not keep on doing very unpopular stuff and keep winning a rigged election

@mosesg5223 NO I dont live in Romania - but Romania is most definitely NOT a 3rd world country, it has a very high quality of life and the lowest levels of stress and mental health issues in the EU - and all the EU is better than the US on these issues.

@usrevenge "Now pretend every country in Europe gets to send 2 senators " yeah we dont do that cos THAT WOULD BE MAD "That is how the us system works." - NO thats how the US system is set up - it very very clearly does NOT work "The idea was too prevent high population states from determining the elections every time." the high population states would NOT determine the election the MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE would determine the election "Instead republicans in California dont have a voice". And democrats in California have something like 1/18th of a vote

@dscross9467 YEAH that decision has come back to haunt you hasn't it... Imagine an Am3ric4 where Al Gore won, Iraq and Afghanistan never happened and the $8 Trillion [?] it all cost was put into education, green tech, and infrastructure - you would probably have an NHS and Free healthcare by now.

@anythinggoes5574 No its not unfair - not if the smaller parties together represent more than 50% of the vote. A largest party with 33% only represents 1/3rd of the people 2 X as many DIDNT want that. So YES the other 2/3rds can get together and form a government. Personally I prefer a run off system so that everyone gets the equal % of the MP's as their vote but the "President" or PM is chosen by the lowest dropping out until there are 2 left so that the winner gets MORE than 50% of the vote.

@LOLWAAHH I assure you I know more about US politics / history / the constitution than 90% of Am3ric4ns.
